Peace

In my years of intentional walk with God, the catalyst of my never leaving the presence of God is PEACE. The concept of peace requires enormous attention from every individual.

On every occasion that I have stayed away from the presence of God for a long time, an anti-peace symptoms starts to develop in my heart.

Symptoms:

  • Worries, I start to bother about a lot of things that would have had no place on my plate.

  • Desperation, an unusual urge to quickly make a decision, quickly become or have a thing.

  • Insecurity, thinking I have to be more - do more, read more, dress more to be important and accepted.

God knows how best to bring me back home. I find bricks laid up on my path, in search of a progressive way out, humorously, I am enroute home. Home is the abode of peace. A place with the father where help, guidance and protection is guaranteed.

"I am at peace" cannot be faked. You either have it or not. Whether you binge watch Netflix for 4 hours, or laugh heartily feeding on Instagram contents the whole day. "Wrap it up brother, I'm still seated here disturbed" your mind will whisper at the end of the day.

Peace is the acknowledgement of the presence of God. It is not in location, activities or routine. Peace is God, God is peace. When you open up your heart, he literally floods your heart with his presence. You are charged up, reassured and bold again.

I have tested the two sides of the coin, with God and without God. Peace is the perfect option. I in God and God in me.

Find time and go to his presence today please. It is important and refreshing. Those are the sweet enjoyments you enjoy as a child of God. Battles are too much, while not take the advantage of peace. That you have had communion with God and so, that nothing can bother you.

I've got peace that makes no sense,

I won't be going under,

I'm not held by my own strength

Cus I bet my life on Jesus

He's never let me down

He's faithful through every season,

So why would he fail now?

He won't."

.A verse from Maverick City Music's Firm Foundation

To-do:

Schedule a time to be quiet and still. Ask God to fill your heart with his presence, again.

"In the midst of all thoughts, wants, dreams and achievement, the hunger to study, know, pray, and meditate on who you are is awakened and heightened"
